By utilizing InviteWise, you explicitly agree not to upload, post, transmit, or share any content that violates this policy. We reserve the absolute right to remove content and permanently suspend accounts that breach these rules, in accordance with United States federal law and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).
Prohibited Content & Conduct
- Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM): This is strictly prohibited and will be immediately reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and federal law enforcement.
- Threats, Harassment, and Hate Speech: Targeted harassment, stalking, doxxing, or speech inciting violence/hate against protected characteristics is banned.
- Intellectual Property Infringement: Content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, patents, or other proprietary rights.
- Privacy Violations: Publishing private personal information (PII) or photos of individuals without their express, prior consent.
- Fraud and Scams: Impersonation, deceptive fundraising, fake charities, or financial schemes.
- Illegal Goods & Substances: Promotion or facilitation of illegal goods, weapons, controlled substances, or illicit social gatherings.
- Adult Content: Nudity, sexually explicit material, or pornographic imagery.
- System Abuse and Spam: Automated bots, repetitive messaging, scraping, or manipulation of RSVP, points/XP, and Stripe contribution flows.
- Malware and Cyber-attacks: Phishing, viruses, or attempts to compromise platform infrastructure or other users' data security.
Hosts' Responsibility
Hosts are entirely responsible for moderating their own event pages, including guest-uploaded media, chat logs, and potluck lists. Hosts must remove violating content promptly upon becoming aware of it.
Reporting Violations
Users can report inappropriate material via the built-in "Report" flags on photos and event pages, or by emailing support@invitewise.app with the subject line "AUP Violation".
Enforcement
InviteWise may remove content, restrict account features, or terminate user access at any time for violations, with or without prior notice, at our sole discretion.
